These "updated" knickerbockers are inspired by the bicyling pants and daily-wear knickerbockers that grew in popularity around the turn of the 20th century. Originally they gifted ladies with a new found freedom to embrace more rambunctious and active pastimes. Additionally, these changes and additions to womens' wardrobes in the Suffrage era was a physical embodiment of the mindset that was building as women found their voices to fight for the right to vote.  These updated knickerbockers are incredibly comfortable,  look polished and refined, and add a jaunty aspect to your daily wardrobe.
